A little pixie dust, a splash of adventure, and a whole new world of Disney stories are heading out to sea. Aboard Disney Cruise Line’s new Disney Believe, Mirabel’s magic takes center stage, Moana welcomes you to the Grand Hall, and Frozen friends bring a little extra joy to dinner. If your vacation wish list just grew a pair of sea legs, you’re not alone.
With its first voyage scheduled for December 18, 2027, there is plenty for your family to look forward to. Booking windows open in October 2026, so let’s explore the new experiences and get your cruise wish list ready.
The Disney Believe will be the fourth Wish-class ship, joining Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny. Its theme of promise and possibility brings together stories about believing in yourself, your family, and what lies ahead.
The ship is scheduled to sail from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale on four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Caribbean. Depending on your itinerary, you can visit Disney Castaway Cay, Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, or both. Check the specific ports when choosing your sailing.
Moana, Pua, and Heihei will welcome you into the Disney Believe’s ocean-inspired Grand Hall. Pacific Islands influences and an ocean-hued carpet set the scene, while a chandelier modeled after the sea’s movement hides the Heart of Te Fiti within its design.
The storytelling starts before you even step aboard. Tinker Bell will decorate the bow, or front of the ship, while Buzz Lightyear and Woody will appear on the stern, or back. Disney’s official ship announcement shares more about these designs.
Disney Encanto will debut exclusively aboard Disney Believe as the film’s first stage adaptation. You can expect Mirabel’s story, familiar songs including “We Don’t Talk About Bruno,” and costumes, scenery, and dance influenced by Colombian cultures.
Tangled: The Musical will feature reimagined sets and special effects created for the new ship. Disney Seas the Adventure rounds out the Walt Disney Theatre lineup.
Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde will star in a new family show that invites you to help solve a case. You will find them in Gazelle, the ship’s Zootopia-inspired entertainment venue, which will host family activities by day and adult-exclusive entertainment at night.
Returning activities include Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party, Hero Zone, Disney Uncharted Adventure, and movies at the Wonderland and Never Land Cinemas.
Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast introduces a new dining story with Oaken, Anna, and Kristoff. Your meal takes place in a forest summer-house courtyard setting, with Oaken’s cousins performing new arrangements of Frozen songs.
1923 returns with displays celebrating Disney animation, alongside Worlds of Marvel and its Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix experience.
Pluto’s Pita Platters brings Mediterranean-inspired kebabs, pitas, garnishes, and dips to Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods. Returning favorites expected alongside it include Mickey’s Smokestack Barbecue, Daisy’s Pizza Pies, Goofy’s Grill, and Sweet Minnie’s Ice Cream, giving your family plenty of poolside choices.
Big Hero Sips and Café Kakamora add coffee, tea, and specialty beverages, with designs inspired by Big Hero 6 and Moana.
Inside Out: Joyful Sweets will feature characters from Inside Out 2 and treats available for purchase. Your family can choose from gelato, ice cream, and other sweets.
Disney Believe will offer new adult lounges alongside returning dining and relaxation spaces. Sea Notes takes inspiration from Ariel’s grotto, Wishing Well from Snow White, and Skygazers from an astronomical observatory.
Haunted Mansion Parlor returns with a drinks menu developed for this ship. Adult dining options include Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement, with The Rose nearby for a drink.
You can also look forward to Quiet Cove’s infinity pool, Senses Spa, Sense Fitness, Untangled Salon, and Hook’s Barbery. Let me know which experiences matter to you as we discuss your cruise plans.
Disney’s Oceaneer Club will welcome children ages 3–10 into five themed play areas, with a Monsters, Inc.-inspired entrance unique to Disney Believe. Spaces include Marvel Super Hero Academy, Fairytale Hall, Star Wars: Cargo Bay, Walt Disney Imagineering Lab, and Mickey and Minnie’s Captain’s Deck.
It’s a Small World Nursery will offer babysitting for children ages six months to three years. Edge serves ages 11–13, Vibe serves ages 14–17, and The Hideaway provides another space for older kids.
On the upper decks, your family can enjoy seven pools, the AquaMouse water ride, and a Toy Story-themed water-play area for younger children. There will be time to splash between meals and shows.
Disney Believe’s staterooms will feature new papercut-style artwork inspired by stories including Moana, Coco, and The Lion King. Most rooms will have Disney’s split-bathroom design, and 70 percent will include a verandah.
More than 450 connecting doors will provide options for families who need multiple rooms. Concierge accommodations will feature Peter Pan artwork, with seven special Toy Story-themed oceanview rooms and an Alice in Wonderland-inspired Concierge Lounge.
Royal Reef Suites draw from The Little Mermaid, while Royal Rose Suites take inspiration from Beauty and the Beast. The two-story Believe Tower Suite will sleep eight and feature rooms inspired by the lands of Magic Kingdom Park.
